The Script Paramedic at Sundance:
Usually, as it happens, I get all kinds of reactions at Sundance. I have volunteered and I have attended.
So, you're a script paramedic? Ha Ha Ha!
"I think you are full of it!"
"I don't believe you are a script doctor"
"I write my own scripts. I'm a filmmaker. I don't need a script paramedic"
whew. the egos. Get a grip. Get a life. Get a death......Oh Ok, your script is
so great, that's why you didn't get rated as the best filmmaker at the festival.
Lots of people, lots of theatres, lots of screenings. Lots of Parties. One brain
cell is being floated around the place and shared. I call this the
Sundance Film Festival Intellitron. It's kind of like an electron that flies
over the mass of filmmakers and film lovers and gathers notes from
people's brains. Heck, its more like a UFO since it collects very little information.
All comments regarding Script Titles, Content, and New Tricks welcome.
Welcome to Sundance Serendipity for January 2011.
